1. Data controller

2. What data we process

We only process the data you provide in the contact form and the technical data strictly necessary to display the website:

• Contact details: first and last name, company, email address and phone number.
• Project details: the service or equipment you are interested in and the message you send us.
• Technical connection data, such as your IP address and browser type, which servers log automatically for security purposes.

3. What we use it for

We do not make automated decisions or create profiles using your data. We use it to:

• Respond to your enquiry and prepare a proposal or quotation for your project.
• Manage the business relationship if we end up working together.
• Keep the website secure and comply with our legal obligations.

4. Legal basis

We process your data because you ask us to in order to receive information or an offer, that is, to take pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); on the basis of our legitimate interest in handling the enquiries we receive and protecting the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); and to comply with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Providing the data marked as mandatory is necessary for us to be able to reply to you.

5. How long we keep it

We keep the data from your request while we handle it and, if no business relationship results, for a maximum of two years. If a contract is signed, we will keep it for the duration of the relationship and thereafter for the periods required by law (for example, commercial and tax regulations). After that time, we delete it securely.

6. Who can access it

We do not sell or disclose your data to third parties unless required by law. It is only accessed, under confidentiality agreements and on our behalf, by the providers we need for the website to operate:

• Supabase: secure storage of the requests submitted through the form.
• The website hosting provider, which serves the pages.
• Porsche Design System (cdn.ui.porsche.com): serves the website’s fonts and visual elements and receives your IP address when they are loaded.
• Other Grupo Selecta companies, only where necessary to handle your project.

7. International transfers

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. In such cases, the transfer is covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or by the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

8. Your rights

You may ask us at any time to access, rectify or erase your data, restrict its use, object to its processing or receive it in a portable format. Write to us at selecta@jpselecta.es or at our postal address, stating the right you wish to exercise.

If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (Spanish Data Protection Agency, AEPD – www.aepd.es).

9. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data: the website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access to requests is restricted to authorised staff and we operate under ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 13485 certified management systems.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal changes or changes to the website. We will always publish the current version on this page together with its update date.
